One Founder. One Conviction.

Samaj Sewa Foundation is led from Dubai by Chaman Lal — humanitarian, human rights advocate, and the sole funder of every programme SSF delivers.

Chaman Lal

Founder & Executive Director · Based in Dubai, UAE

Chaman Lal is a Dubai-based humanitarian and human rights advocate originally from Southern Punjab, Pakistan. He founded Samaj Sewa Foundation in 2021 with a single conviction: that service to society is the highest calling, and that every citizen — regardless of faith or background — deserves dignity, opportunity, and justice.

Every SSF programme — from the 10 Free Coaching Centres in Cholistan to the Shrimati Meema Ji Stitching Centre, the Girls Library in Umerkot, the 230 documented human rights cases, and every festival distribution — is funded entirely from his personal income earned through his real estate career in Dubai. Not a single external donor. Not a single rupee of overhead.

His commitment is recognised at the highest institutional levels in Pakistan, and his work has been honoured with two major awards for human rights and minority advocacy.
